About me
Hi friends— I’m Chelsea Marshall, I have had a love for photography since I was a kid. Looking through pictures of family I’ve never met, from before even my parents were a thought fulfills me. I’m always fascinated by photographs and have spent a lot of my life admiring from afar while capturing my family constantly. Which is why I have had such fulfillment in capturing memories from my clients.
As a documentary inspired lifestyle photographer. My style could be described as soft, warm and authentic. Leaning on romanticizing what may feel like a mundane moment. I strive to evoke the feeling of love, nostalgia, the innocence of child-like wonder, and the preciousness of life. My hope is that in generations to come, decedents can even look at your family gallery and feel something.
When I’m not behind the camera, you might find me running around with kids, loving on my husb, reading a book, listening to a true crime podcast or being outdoors with my family. I love art of the 60s and 70s, I love cheesy jokes and cranky (actually, all) elderly people. I believe that life is short and scary and beautiful, and rarely feels “picture perfect”. But with an outside perspective of somebody who loves love, life and finding the good and beautiful we can learn or perhaps remember that we are the main character in our own story.
It is not lost on me that there is no shortage of incredible photographers. But I thank you for stopping by and getting to know me, and I hope I have an opportunity to better get to know you and capture you being the main character in your life.
Hello!
